Ms. Tina Susin

Principal

Ms. Susin was born and raised on Long, Island, NY and relocated to Melbourne, Florida in 1996 where she began her teaching career in 1996 at Johnson Middle School.  Ms. Susin taught various grade levels, primarily secondary, in both Florida and New York. Her educational experiences have been in Exceptional Student Education as an NBCT Exceptional Education Specialist, and in Secondary Literacy as a teacher and Reading Expert.  In 2010, Ms. Susin was selected as the Brevard Public Schools Reading Teacher of the Year, Regional Reading Teacher of the Year and Florida’s Middle School Reading Teacher of the Year.  Ms. Susin received a Master of Education degree in Educational Administration in 2008 and has served in the capacity of Educational Leader in Brevard County since 2011.

Ms. Susin enjoys spending time with her family both here, in North Carolina, and on Long Island.  She and her daughter, Olivia, have a passion for horses and spent much of their free time riding or enjoying other outdoor activities!

Ms. Jennifer Shockley

Ms. Shockley was raised in Brevard County and graduated from Cocoa High School. She began her teaching career with Brevard Public Schools in 1993. Ms. Shockley has taught various levels of mathematics at both Johnson Middle School and Jefferson Middle School. She also served as the Guidance Services Professional at Jefferson Middle School and DeLaura Middle School. Ms. Shockley received a Master of Education degree in Mathematics Education and an Educational Specialist degree in Educational Leadership from UCF. Ms. Shockley joined the administrative team at Jackson Middle School in 2016.

 Ms. Shockley enjoys spending time with her family. She has three children that keep her very busy with dance, cheer, and soccer!

Ms. Christina Donohue

Assistant Principal / Dean

Mrs. Donohue was born and raised in Brevard County. Mrs. Donohue began her teaching career in 2005 and has taught various grade levels in both Florida and South Carolina. In 2010, Mrs. Donohue was selected as the Brevard Public Schools District Teacher of the Year and served as the Florida District Teacher of the Year in 2011 presenting at various educational conferences across Florida, as well as, served on the Brevard Schools Foundation.  In 2015, Mrs. Donohue co-founded the Brevard Public Schools Teacher Leadership Council, TLC, and continues to serve as the executive director.  Mrs. Donohue received her graduate degree in 2015 and then continued her studies and received a Master of Education degree in Educational Administration in 2017.

Mrs. Donohue attended Jackson Middle School as a child and is honored to return home to serve as the assistant principal. GO GENERALS! In her free time, Mrs. Donohue spends time with her family. She is married to Mr. Donohue and has four children, six grandchildren, two dogs and a cat. She has a passion for photography, crocheting, painting, and baseball.
