    Volunteer Opportunities for Monday, June 27th & Monday, July, 11th 2022

    Volunteers are needed for various jobs around the West Shore campus on Monday, June 27th & Monday, July, 11th 2022.  These opportunities are for ADULTS ONLY – children will not be permitted on campus.

    • Record location of evacuation signs on campus (8:30 – 10:30am)
    • Make copies and organize emergency folders (8:30 – 10:30am)
    • Purge cumulative folders – MUST BE CURRENT SCHOOL DISTRICT EMPLOYEE (8:30am – 12:30pm)
    • Make copies for guidance (8:30 – 10:30am)
    • Organize and inventory classroom cabinets (8:30am – 12:30pm)

    West Shore June 15th & 17th Volunteer Opportunities

    We need your help to make sure we have the volunteers necessary for the tasks posted.  PLEASE READ AND FOLLOW THESE GUIDELINES:

    ·     If you are unable to fulfill the volunteer slot you’ve signed up for, please go back into SignUp Genius and remove your name. (Over half of the parents signed up to help are not fulfilling these jobs)

    ·     If you are unable to work the entire time slot listed, please Do Not sign up.

    ·     If all slots are full when you try to sign up… please continue checking back until the date of the event as slots may come open at anytime.

    o  Grounds Beautification (8 – 10am) Please bring gardening gloves. If you have hedge clippers and/or long-handled tree trimmers it would be helpful for you to bring these as well. Parents will be weeding, trimming trees and tending to the grounds on campus.

    o  Rinse cans (8:30 – 10:30am)

    o  Remove tags from media center items (9:00 – 11am)

    o  Move books from classrooms to auditorium (9:30am – 11:30pm)

    o  Move items to dumpster – outside work (9:00am – 11:00am)

    o  Move teacher’s items  (9:00 – 11:00am)



    Wednesday, June 8th - Multiple Summer Volunteer Opportunities

    Help purge cumulative folders (Must be school board employee), box VHS tapes and move books, Place clips on PE lockers, Organize book room, pick-up, launder and deliver lost and found items to Goodwill, organize pallets and inventory items going to the warehouse.



    Monday, April 25th - Recycle Boxes

    Volunteers are needed to sort and fold empty boxes for recycling.



    Monday, April 25th - Teacher Appreciation Luncheon

    Volunteers are needed from 10:00 AM - 1:00 PM to set-up, clean between shifts and when it’s over. 



    Friday, April 29th - Annual Staff Luncheon

    Volunteers are needed from 10am - 2pm to set-up, clean-up and break down tables.
