Applicants are not required to possess a high school diploma to be employed in the following positions: Group Leader I, Baker, Cook, Custodian, Cafeteria Worker, Bus Driver, Cafeteria Cashier, Standby Driver. However, if an applicant is hired in one of the above classifications and later wants to apply for a position that does require a high school diploma, proof of the diploma must be provided to meet the qualifications of the new position.

Upon nomination for employment, prerequisite will include a drug screen test with fee and fingerprinting with fee for law enforcement records check. Fingerprints must be submitted at the Office of School and District Security, 2700 Judge Fran Jamieson Way, Viera, FL 32940.
