ATTENTION:  Effective June 1, 2022, all pre-employment drug screening and fingerprinting fees will be waived for new and returning instructional and support staff, substitute teachers, temporary employees, and community coaches.  This does not include charter school employees or contractors.  Funding is being made available through ARP ESSER until August 30, 2024.

TYPING TEST

 

 

Applicants for Clerical Positions with Brevard Public Schools are required to complete a 5 Minute Typing test through Career Source Brevard. Once the typing test is complete, the applicant returns the original score report to the Human Resources Office. To take the test, call 321-504-7600.

Please Note: All applicants for employment (including transfers) must create a BEACON application account and have a complete, verified online BEACON Employment Application to be eligible to apply for an advertised position.

BEACON is not available during the last Friday of each month from 11:00PM to Saturday 6:00AM Eastern Time. BEACON is best viewed using Internet Explorer.

Applicants are not required to possess a high school diploma to be employed in the following positions: Group Leader I, Baker, Cook, Custodian, Cafeteria Worker, Bus Driver, Cafeteria Cashier, Standby Driver. However, if an applicant is hired in one of the above classifications and later wants to apply for a position that does require a high school diploma, proof of the diploma must be provided to meet the qualifications of the new position.
