As the Assistant Superintendent of Human Resources for Brevard Public Schools, I am honored to bring a unique perspective and diverse experience to this vital role. With over 20 years of active military duty in the United States Air Force, I have gained valuable insights into leadership, teamwork, and the importance of supporting and developing individuals to achieve their full potential.

My journey in human resources began during my military career, where I had the privilege of serving in various leadership positions. The military instilled in me a strong sense of service before self, integrity, and a commitment to excellence, which have become the guiding principles in my approach to HR management. After retiring from the military, I transitioned seamlessly into the civilian workforce, leveraging my extensive background in personnel management and organizational development.

I earned my Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management, Master’s degree in Educational Leadership and another Master’s degree in Human Resources Management. Over the years, I have continuously honed my skills through professional development programs, staying abreast of the latest HR trends and best practices.

Before becoming part of this prestigious school district, I dedicated 11 years to Seminole County Public Schools, where my journey began as a classroom instructor and evolved into diverse administrative roles. Throughout these positions, I acquired significant expertise in the operations of Florida's Department of Education.

My philosophy centers on the belief that the heart of any successful organization lies in its people.
