About Mrs Robinson:
Hello Pinewood Family!
I am so excited to be starting my 5th year as your principal! Pinewood is an excellent school with an amazing staff and equally amazing students!
Since 1994, I have served many roles as an educator in Brevard Public Schools, but I consider my most important job to be that of an advocate for all children. I believe that all students can learn and will work to celebrate their success, small and large. I will encourage them every day and let them know that they are truly valued and have a special place in our school community!
Not only am I excited to continue working with your children, I look forward to the work that we will do together. As the old African Proverb states, “It takes a village to raise a child.” I am excited to see your children through your eyes. I cannot wait to share with you the great things they do throughout their days here at Pinewood. And, of course, I will be here to work with you should they need any help navigating any aspect of the school day.
I am a true Florida Native as I was born in Jacksonville, and I have lived in Titusville since 1979. I am a product of Brevard Public Schools, having attended Jackson Middle School and Titusville High. I attended Brevard Community College, The University of Central Florida and received my teaching degree from Delta State University in Cleveland, Mississippi and my master’s in educational leadership from NOVA Southeastern University.
In my free time, I enjoy boating, fishing, going to the beach, reading, cooking, and spending time with my husband, Bob and our four adult kids, Trey (22), Zachary (21), Chase (19), and Tessa (18).
I am honored to serve you as your principal and consider myself extremely fortunate to be a Pinewood Panther!
Let’s have a great 2019-2020 school year!

About Ms Nelson:
First of all, I want to say, I am SO excited to be back at Pinewood! I am happy to be your assistant principal at Pinewood!
A little about me, I was born and raised in Farmington, New Mexico. I graduated from New Mexico State University in Las Cruces in 2003. I moved back home after graduation and taught two years in the district where I went to school from Kindergarten through 12th grade.
In 2005 I moved to Florida and started working for Brevard Public Schools. I taught many years of Kindergarten and 1st grade at Fairglen Elementary. I have also taught all grade levels (K-6th) through the activity wheel and Title I. During the 2017-2018 school year I was a Title I teacher at Pinewood. In 2019 I accepted a position as the Guidance Service Professional at Kennedy Middle School where I worked for a year.
In my free time, I love to travel, spend time with my family and friends, and just relax (which doesn’t happen very often)! I have two children, a daughter named Brielle and a son named Bryce. Most of my weekends are spent at sporting events for my kids. Brielle plays competitive travel softball and school level volleyball. Bryce is still trying to figure out what his true passion is. He plays football, flag football, and soccer but has tried just about every sport! Most of my travel lately has been to various ballparks all over the state, but it keeps me busy and out of trouble!
I am so excited to be part of the Pinewood Family!
