Future Problem Solving
Elementary students involved in the Future Problem Solving program compete against 4th, 5th, 6th graders using the six step program model. Participants develop lifelong skills, including teamwork, communication, research, critical and creative thinking, analysis, synthesis and evaluation. They learn to apply these skills to situations that are futuristic but oriented to real life. This year’s research topics include 1) Mission to Moon, Mars and Beyond, 2) Drones, 3) Food Loss & Waste and 4) Coping With Stress.
