Welcome to Speech and Language Therapy.  Audrey Nelson and Karen Monda are the Speech/Language Pathologists who work with students here at MILA.  If you have a concern about your child's communication, please feel free to email either of us.

Speech refers to the words that come out.  We work with students who have trouble saying the sounds correctly - - articulation, who have trouble getting the words out fluently - - stuttering and cluttering, and who have trouble with their voice quality. 

Language refers to what is being said.  We work with students who have trouble listening and understanding what others say and with students who have trouble organizing their thoughts and saying what they mean.
