    Mrs. Jane Cline is the Assistant Superintendent for Elementary Leading and Learning.  In this capacity she oversees the district’s 57 elementary schools, the offices of Testing and Accountability, Head Start, Title I programs, Choice, Charter Schools and Brevard After School.  Her priority initiatives are focused on the district’s Vision for Excellent Instruction.  Equity in every classroom, early literacy, aligned instructional materials, and expanding our teacher's capacity to create a classroom of standard aligned instruction to increase student achievement.  

    Mrs. Cline’s administrative career includes serving as the assistant principal at Challenger 7 Elementary for three years and the principal of Fairglen Elementary for seven years.  She was appointed and served three years as the central area coordinator and three years as central area superintendent.  Mrs. Cline was appointed as the Assistant Superintendent of Elementary Leading and Learning in July of 2016. 

    Mrs. Cline is a graduate of the Leadership Brevard Class of 2018, a member of Brevard Association of School Administrators, Association for Supervision and Curriculum Development, and National Association of Elementary School Principals.  She is a certified National Mentor for Principals through the National Association of Elementary School Principals and has served as mentor since 2009.  She was recognized as Elementary Principal of the Year in 2009.  Mrs. Cline received her bachelor’s degree from the University of Central Florida in Elementary Education and a Master’s in Educational Leadership from Nova Southeastern University.  Mrs. Cline is originally from West Virginia but has called Brevard County her home since 1986.
