Cocoa High Football Player and Coach Honored as Best in Florida
Cocoa, FL -- The world of Florida state high school football is focused on Cocoa High this week, as a player and the head coach are honored as two of the best.
Wide receiver Jayvan Boggs accepted the Florida Dairy Farmer Mr. Football award in front of his parents, teammates, and coaches during a ceremony Wednesday at Cocoa High School. The junior caught 93 passes and scored 23 touchdowns as the Tigers won the state 2S championship for the second straight year.
The ceremony also honored Cocoa football head coach Ryan Schneider, who received his plaque as the Class 2S Coach of the Year.
