Dept. of Health Vaccine Clinics for Children Age 5 -11
Viera, FL -- Information from Brevard Dept. of Health on COVID-19 vaccine for children age 5 - 11 has been released. Below is the news release from the Brevard DOH.
"With the approval of the Centers for Disease Control (CDC), Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 vaccines can now be administered to children ages 5 to 11. Previously, Pfizer vaccines had been approved for minors starting at age 12.
Pfizer COVID-19 for those ages 5 and up are also offered at many clinic and pharmacy locations in Brevard and throughout the nation. Go to www.Vaccines.gov to find the most convenient site offering Pfizer.
DOH-Brevard will begin providing pediatric COVID-19 vaccines on Monday, November 15 per the schedule below. Parents or guardians must accompany the child. The vaccine is available on a walk-in basis.
-Viera Clinic, 2555 Judge Fran Jamieson Way, Viera, FL 32940. Monday – Friday from 8AM to 11:30AM and 1PM to 4PM.
-Melbourne Clinic, 601 East University Blvd, Melbourne, FL 32901. Fridays only from 1:30PM – 4PM.
-Titusville Clinic, 611 N Singleton Ave, Titusville, FL 32796. Fridays only from 1:30PM – 4PM.
