Congratulations to the girls JV Soccer team for their win over Bayside last night 2-0. The girls Varsity team tied Bayside 1-1. The goal was scored by Katie G. Two saves in goal by Brittain C and two saves by Heather J.
Students who donated blood Thursday- THANK YOU for being the Hero to three people this weekend. Your life saving donation could be helping cancer patients, newborns, or people who have experienced a traumatic accident. Please continue to drink extra water and include healthy foods when you eat. Your recovery is very important. If you left a sweat shirt type jacket at the Blood drive, see Ms. Wallschlag in Room D-106- building 4- to get it back.
There will be a Thespian meeting right after school today in the Drama Room.
Saturday the Drama room will be rehosting their carwash in front of the auditorium from 10:00 to 2:00. If you are still holding onto your carwash ticket, you can cash it in this Saturday. Hope to see you there.

Any boys interested in playing baseball this spring - tryouts start Monday January 20th - Midnight Madness practices. Tuesday January 21st - 4-6:30 pm and Wednesday January 22nd - 4-6:30 pm. Athletic packets need to be turned into the front office by this afternoon. See Coach Wydner with any questions.
Sources of Strength members, there will be a mandatory meeting in the media center on Thursday, January 23rd. You may choose to show up to the 8AM meeting before school or the 3:30PM meeting after school. See you there!
Any student interested in playing boys and girls tennis this spring, please attend a brief meeting at 3:45 p.m. on Wednesday, Jan 22 in Mr. Riley's classroom 7-132B.
Students presently in the 9th or 10th grade who meet eligibility for Dual Enrollment and want to pursue a Two-year AA Degree, will receive an invitation to enter the “Collegiate High School” program in the next few days. This program provides transportation to 10th graders taking college classes who have committed to completing their AA Degree by the time they graduate high school. Interested students who receive the invitation will attend the mandatory “Collegiate High School” Informational meeting on Thursday, January 30th at 6pm in the Merritt Island HS auditorium. Parents are requested to attend this meeting with their student. The complete overview will cover the benefits, requirements, and deadlines of Collegiate High School and help you determine if Collegiate High School suites your educational goals.
Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex is now hiring crewmembers. Interviews are being held exclusively for high school students Friday, February 7th at 3:00pm – 6:00pm at the KSC Visitor Complex Human Resources Department. See the flyer in the front office for more information.
The UCF Space Coast Alumni Chapter (UCFSC) is once again offering the "Debbie K. Phillis Space Coast UCF Alumni Chapter Endowed Scholarship" with an estimated opening date of 2/1 and closing date of 3/1/19. This community service-based scholarship distributes two $1,000 awards and is open to all eligible BCPS students. See guidance for requirements and more information.
